Data Warehouse	N/A	A collection of current and historical data which can be used by a variety of staff for reports and analysis. Warehouse data is constantly updated through systems like myZou. Special software allows users to develop flexible reports without having sophisticated knowledge of transactional systems or technology.
Department	N/A	A unit within the organization that has a homogenous mission, has employees reporting to it, and is under the direction of a department manager or chair. Must have faculty and/or staff assigned to it. It is the organizational hierarchy for security and responsibilty for personnel. People are assigned to a department as their home department.
Department User	N/A	See end user.
Design Phase	N/A	The early phase of a project in which the team creates a vision, determines specific objectives and requirements, develops new processes, and decides how technology will be used to support the objectives.
Detail Value	N/A	A value that rests at the lowest level on a tree, can not act as a rollup of other values, and is depicted by a leaf. It represents a specific, non summary ChartField value on a tree. Examples include a specific Account, DeptID, or Class.
Division	N/A	A unit within the organization that may have a homogenous mission, has employees reporting to it, and is under the direction of a division manager or dean.
